Art Projects and Matts new BFF

I spent all night last night making an art project for my wall. It turned out just like I wanted it too, and Im very excited to make more like it. I got paper that coordinated (in my opinion) from Hobby Lobby and cut out kindof modern/abstract shapes and put them on solid colored cardstock and framed them in a grouping. I love it.

I also made a card book thing for my sister. I bought the supplies in a kit, and got the instructions to put it together. It turned out so cute, and I know she is gonna love it! I am sending it to her in a package with some baby things I've bought for her. I miss her lots, but I think she might be joining us on family vacation in July! I hope so!!!

Lastly, we have been feeding the hummingbirds at our house like crazy. Matt calls them his little friends. Like we give them so much of that sugar water mixture that we have to fill it up at least once a day. They are always there feeding, and have even gotten so used to us, that they will come and get a drink even if we are on the porch. Matt loves them, and so do I :) He took this really cool picture of one last night, and I thought I'd share...

I love your new wall hangings! They are awesome! Good Job!

And hummingbirds would be so awesome! We have a tent that has a huge window and I want to get a feeder to hang there. They are so fun to watch!

I love the art projects! The wall hangings look great and that little book for your sis is so cute! Did you get that at Hobby Lobby too? Are you guys going to Bear Lake this weekend? We're planning to go up Friday night or Saturday morning. I'm thinking Matt takes a bit after Grandma Gerrie with befriending the hummingbirds. :)
