So I know I've told a few people that I hate my blog and wish it was dead. Well, I don't really. I just hate how long it takes to upload images now. It seems like it takes 3 times as long. Anyway, Here are some pics of our sweetheart. He is so fun, and such a cutie!

KALE MATTHEW ROWBERRY!

This is right after his first at home bath. He hated both matt and I right about now!

Finally settled down after his bath. He is so precious!

Love getting a couple of pics of him without his o2. He had level 3 meconium, and as a result got an infection, and had to be in NICU for 3 days. We brought him home from the hospital with oxygen, but are just SUPER grateful that he is okay. There are sooo many sick sick babies in the NICU, he was about the healthiest of them all. It really made us realize how much we have to be grateful for. THere were little twin girls in there who each weighed less than 2 lbs. So sad. He looked HUGE compared to all of the other babies.

Papa is just smitten as a kitten by our little man. Of course all 4 grandparents are! I just thought this picture was way to cute not to share!

I know I kinda look like hell here, but I love my 2 baby boys! Scout has been SOOO good with Kale. He is super protective and goes in his room to check on him about every 10 mins, or whenever Kale makes even the tiniest peep. Soo cute!

We are now an official family with one human baby, and one fur baby. Matt is the proudest daddy ever, and melts my heart every time he holds or talks to Kale. I am the luckiest girl in the world!!!

One last pic of me right before we left our house to got to the hospital.

Here is the story (mostly so I don't forget any of it):

I got my membranes stripped on thurs the 18th. that night i had bad cramps and minor contractions all night. Went to work the next day, and lost my mucus plug. Decided to go home and rest about 11 am. at about 3 or 4 my contractions started up again, and by about 6 or 7 they were getting fairly bad, but I felt great. Went to DI and home depot with matt cuz I was dying to be up and walking around. Came home and made party snacks for matt and me. By about 10 that night I knew stuff was starting to get crazy. My contractions were super intense, but only like 20 mins apart. ALL NIGHT they kept getting harder and closer together. Matt slept while me and scout stayed up. Scoutie was soo concerned about me and would just lay his head on my lap until i had a contraction, then he would stand up and look at me and just snuggle up to my side and whimper. I woke matt up about 5:30 and told him they were almost 5 mins apart, so it was gonna only be a couple of hours before we should go to the hospital. He started getting really worried. I made him take a shower and relax. Finally about 7:30 I started trying to get ready and put on makeup. We got to the hospital about 8:15 and my contractions were only 3 mins apart. THe gave me a pain releiver through IV, and about 10 I got my epidural. THe nurse was super concerned that matt was gonna pass out while they were doing my epidural, but he did fantastic. After that it was a breeze. I couldn't feel any contractions, and we just chilled for most of the afternoon. I continued to dialate, but stalled out at about a 6, so at like 3 they gave me pitocin. I had dialated to a 10 by about 4, and pushed once or twice, and they could tell then that the baby had meconium. i got really scared and started crying. I started pushing at 5:30, and it took a little over 2 hours for me to get him crowned. once he was crowned, they put the vacuum on his head, and he came about 4 mins later. Matt got to cut the cord, but they had to take him right away and suck out his nose and mouth so the meconium didn't get any worse. We then got to hold him and love him for most of the night. At about 5 the next morning, they realized that his oxygen saturation was low because of an infection from the meconium, so they took him down to NICU. That was really sad and hard. I called my dad and had him come give him a blessing that morning. He is a little fighter, and his stats continued to improved with antibiotics, an IV and oxygen over the next 3 days. We brought him home tuesday morning.

We couldn't be happier, and its been about a week now, and Im starting to feel lots better. We just love him to death, and are soooo very thankful for him. We have had tons of help and support from fam and friends, and couldn't have done all of this with out them.

Here is Kash on the big horse at Petersens farm store. He was such a cutie and wanted to try out all of the saddles, then i put him up there and he just said "Cheese" he wanted me to take his picture soo bad :)

My MIL Julie, and my SIL's Jill, Jerilyn and Emily and I went down to the Womens Conference at the conference center in SLC. We had a good time!

Yesterday Matt and I made this little wall decoration for above Kale's crib. I made the an9imals out of felt and he made the wood and metal parts :) Turned out super cute I think!

This scary spider was eating a bee on a pumpkin on our front porch (should have taken a pic of the pumpkins cuz they are painted with our house numbers and they look SUPER CUTE)

I made this little "subway" art for the babys room too. I used wordle and it was actually like the easiest thing ever! Love it!!!

We went boating with some of our best friends, Richie and Brody for Richie's 25th bday last weekend. It was a blast! The water at Willard bay is definitely warmer than Bear Lake!

The weekend before Willard Bay, we went up to a place called Scare Canyon with Justin and Jamie (Good friends of ours) to Justins cabin. THe morning when we woke up there was a moose like 100 yards away at a salt lick. It was pretty cool.

We've also been to Bear Lake a bunch. Here is my awesome neice Jenna and I trying to be cool while the men work on putting in a new deck on the boathouse.

Here is a pic of some of the progress. Matt and his dad and brother-in-laws worked really hard for more than one weekend on it, and Ill have to take a pic of the finished product. It looks GREAT!

Last but not least, here is my most recent belly pic. This is me at just about 24 weeks. I have 3 months and 14 days left until my due date. I CANT WAIT!!!!!

The other day we just decided to go to this park on the island that I just LOVE. It is right by where the canal broke last year off of Crockett Ave (if you live in Logan/Cache Valley), but it is just beautiful there! This pic is the river that sort of runs by part of the part. SOOO pretty (and sooo loud).

SO cute! We just decided to snap some pics in the trees by a canal that branches off of the river above at another part of the park.

These 2 cool trees were like perfect for standing on over the river. I was being a little silly

I told Matt to make a serious face, and this is what I got. He laughed so hard when he saw the face I pulled. ;)

We were going to Caspers to get ice cream after the park, and ended up chasing/following this guy all around logan/river heights/providence. yes, we followed him for a while, originally seeing him down on the island, then again in river heights where we thought he was going to land, but didnt, then as we were in Providence he landed randomly in a church parking lot by Maceys. It was pretty cool.

Well the weather hasnt been warm at all yet, so we are keeping busy inside :) Plus, Im pretty sure Im going to be in the nesting phase for like 6 months because I love it so much!!

Saw this wreath idea somewhere...cant remember where. But it was so easy, and I seriously love it!

Matt at the Logan cemetary by his Grandpa Ron, Gramdma June, and Uncle Stephen's graves. (Stephens is the small one in the back) We also visited his Grandpa Jay and Grandma Gerrie's graves in Logan, as well as Matts best friend, Dave Jessop's grave in Paradise, but my camera was dead for those. It isnt even noon on memorial day and We've already had so much fun! We are so grateful for our friends and family, both with us and passed on, and today is the perfect day to really reflect on them.

Matt, me and my dad went to Roosevelt last weekend for my cousin James Alands wedding reception. Soo much fun, and Soo many fun cousins! We used to be with the alands every chance we got. I spent a lot of time in roosevelt and Myton when I was little playing with Amy, Andy and Marcy :) So fun!

We are actually only about 9 weeks, as we found out yesterday at our first ultrasound. We were so excited, and I'm pretty sure both Matt and I thought it was the coolest thing we'd ever seen! Our new due date is Thanksgiving day! gobble gobble!

Yesterday some friends of mine had a bridal shower for one of my very best friends Heather Schiffman. It was SO MUCH FUN! We had a room upstairs at Cafe Sabor (yummy Mexican restaurant in an old train depot). She and her fiance Dakota are getting married in Hawaii next month, and because of work Matt and I cant go! We are super bummed!! Anyway the shower had a bit of a Hawaiian theme. So cute!

So, we have been way busy lately, and Ive TOTALLY slacked on blogging. I know, because some of my friends have reminded me how bad I suck... :) haha. THese things are being posted in no specific order. I have hardly taken any pics in the last month. Oh well. Here goes.

Halloween! Matt and I were gladiators. I loved our costumes :) Matt kept saying how comfy his "dress" was. Funny!

We made cute drilled pumpkins but I was too dumb to figure out how to get a good pic without my flash on. So sorry you cant see the lights :) The bat is Matts and mine is the stripes.

Ive been making a few seasonal/holiday crafts for our house. I made this fall sign last week

I also made these pumpkins with my Mother in law and Matts Sisters at a Super Saturday thing at Jills church. It was fun to play with them while Matt was hunting :)

I made this cute sign today (i thought the saying was cute) after i saw it on this {blog } Theirs is way cuter, but i wanted one **right now** and didnt want to wait to find the vinyl letters :)

My puppy is so big. He seriously can walk so good, and for a long time on 2 legs. Its so funny

Yup Another day of fun yard saling. Went with my sis, and my cute Cuzin Lexi. We didnt find a TON of stuff, but it was still fun.

Love the details on this pretty silver dish. It is stamped and numbered on the bottom, so I think ill prolly take it to antiques roadshow next time the come around. It will probably be worth so much I can retire early! ;)

Cute dressy shorts for work brand new 1.00. Everything else here was .50. Cute stuff :)

These brown baskets were $1. the white baskets for our computer/craft/scouts room $1 for 8 Silver bowl $1 and picture frame .10! Thats already been spray painted black :) way cuter now. My S.I.L. Kristin went yard saling today in Puyuallup, WA where she lives and got some major scores too! Its just so much fun treasure hunting :)

Aunt Kim, my mom and me just chillin after a pretty much all nighter at Relay for LIfe in Montpelier. It was soo fun, and just good to be there supporting Kim and all of the other survivors. I cant wait til next year. p.s. they raised a TON of money and thats the best part!

These are the first zuccini from our garden :) we are gonna eat them in like 5 min and im stoked! Matt and I have had so much fun starting our garden from seeds and waiting for the fruits of our labor. Yum!

This is a little project I made for my super cool sis-in-law Em. Her and her hubb Trev are building their first house, and she had asked me to make one of these for her. THe only thing is, I told her the C would be yellow. Well i think i like it better white. Hope thats okay ;)

I just instantly loved this table. It was $6 at my favorite Somebodys Attic. The top used to be brown. I {heart} spray paint! :)

Also got the Shelf and the USA hangings there. Frame and candle lantern came from yardsales. Chair came from Matts cabin.
THe black shelf and yellow fabric (toille...sp?) are thrift store finds as well. Gotta love it

Relay for life and Camping

Ok so my awesome aunt Kim (a multiple cancer survivor) has been really invovled with the Realy for Life project in Bear Lake (where she lives) and is actually planning and organizing the Relay for LIfe in Montpelier at Bear Lake high. Well at the end of this month she has helped organize a fundraiser and wanted different members of her Relay team (which includes me and my fam) to make things to sell at her fundraiser. I went garage sale-ing yesterday (and ran into my sis in law from seattle--Holla!) and found some really cool things i thought I could "make" something out of and then sell them for (hopefully) a profit. Phew! Long story I guess... anyway here are somethings I did yesterday. SOme of them may be staying at my house... :)

I think i want to outline the letters on this post, and sand the sides. COmments welcome. I want it to be cute so i can make more money for the sale. hehe

I put some herbs in this old bread tin box and i thnk its way cute. It was painted 1995 forest green before and had a bunch of Kitchy decorations to put on top...someof which are being remodeled as well...... :)

We also went camping yesterday up at High Creek in Cove. SOOOOOOO pretty right now. Scouts first camp out and he Luvved it fo sho. Do you like his crazy evil eyes? Red eye remover wont do a thing for it :)

So Memorial weekend was supposed to be full of fun and adventure...supposed to means it wasnt. I got sick starting friday, and by sat evening I was bed ridden until tuesday. Talk about sad. Poor Matt had to keep scout entertained and play nurse/cook/housemaid for me :) he did awesome. He came home from work last night sick though, and stayed home today. Sorry Honey. Well in the days of boredom, I did do a few things to try and entertain myself.

Matt has been taking way good care of the lawn and flowers. I will have to put up some pics of our beer hops. They grow no less than a foot a day. They are getting to be really pretty and the water lillies are going to be blooming soon. I love our new place.

So we finally broke down and bought a new computer! I love it already. We used some of my car money to have one built for us. My co-worker Chase has a computer building and repair business. If you live in logan give him a SHOUT OUT--hes the cheapest repair in town. He did an awesome job on building ours, and has VERY VERY reasonable prices :) I guess in a few weeks we'll get a new monitor too, but for now this is just great. We had a fun night last night. Our good friends Richie and Brody came over for dinner. Richie works with me, and yesterday got a promotion, so I cooked dinner for all of us. It was Yummy :) We love having them over. Thanks guys! Another good buddy of mine, Skyler (a friend i made about 5 years ago at EK Ekcessories...oh the memories ;) )came over to visit. He is sucha funny kid. I just love him! It was a good night, and we cant wait to get our internet hooked up (tomorrow) I told Matt it was silly, but I didnt know what to do on the computer without the internet :) Fun times, and good friends!

Health days, Craft-a-rama-and Mothers Day

First let me start by saying I didnt take one picture all weekend. Wah Wah. Matt took a couple of pics of the things we made for our moms for mothers day, but thats all. Bummer! Saturday morning my mom, my sis and me did the fun run for Smithfield's Health Days Celebration. It was really fun :) We went to some Garage sales, then we went to the Health Days Parade. With my dad. Sooo fun! I had a blast. (Matt was fishing this whole time) Sunday we went to my parents with my Aunt Kim, and her whole family it was a FULL HOUSE. but Oh So fun, and the food was KILLER! Mmmm I love hamburgers from the grill! After that we went to Matts Parents for more food and good times. I felt like I had eaten thanksgiving dinner last night. can we say OVEREATING ??? :) Sunday morning and saturday night were spent painting, modge-podging and cutting, etc to make these little cuties for our FABULOUS mothers. We love em!

P.S. I made them from old cabinet doors that were FREE at a yardsale in smithfield.

Happy Birthday to my Awesome Father in law! We had the usual delicious texas chocolate cake. He even bought Lemon Custard ice cream for all of us girls who **HeArT** Lemon Custard from Aggie Ice Cream! Thanks Jim. You are the best!

Did some more home-improvement over the weekend. Real Deals--a awesome store in Logan has the CUTEST and cheapest home decor! I love it! Too bad they are only open thursday and saturday for like 6 hours. Got this star for the front of the house for $8!
Matt made me 2 bedside tables out of an old dining room table that was on our back deck. I left the legs, but painted the top blue to match our new bedding. I love the way they turned out. Too bad i can barely reach the table from bed. Well have to adjust. :) On another note--I was looking at this pic noticing how UGLY our blinds are. I made some really cute (i hope) curtains from leftover fabric, paint, and an old sheet....I know. Sounds Scary! we havent hung them yet, so when we do ill post and you can decide. (Also, nevermind the boxes and cables you can see...we arent quite finished....... :)

I made little valances from the ends of the WAAAYYYYY too big pillowcases that came with our new bedding. They were done in less than 5 min, and i think they will look cute...and ecclectic with the curtains i made. I also have to finish the stickered faux headboard im creating...they match perfect, and they came from Dollar Tree ;)

Well Trever and Kristin came to visit this last week with my super cute and fun Nephew and Neice. It was the first time Matt and i got to meet Madelynn and BOY HOWDY! Shes adorable! She is so chill. I just love her. Trever went home yesterday to work...wah wah but Kris and the kiddos are here til SATURDAY. Madelynn was blessed on sunday and she looked soooo PreTTy! Sadly, this weekend Matts sweet Grandma Gerrie passed away. We know that she is in a better place now, but we sure will miss her. New Years was really fun. Matt and I are getting old though I think. We were home by 11:30. We did stay up til about 2 but we were just wanting to be home alone. Good times!

Sunday was Danielles blessing, and family dinner. Here is little Danielle all dressed up for the big event. (stole this from Em's blog). Her blessing was really nice, and so was the HUGE dinner after! I think I was more full than thanksgiving! It was a really nice time for everyone!

I think i love the weekends so much because I can get SOOO much stuff done! I have been trying really hard lately to make our house cuter, for as cheap as i can. Thats why I LOVe going to thrift stores every week to see what they have got. Love that! I wish I lived in a city where people threw cool stuff in the alleys, or dumpsters, and I would totally dumpster dive for a good find :) got a sweet old pitcher for a couple dollars, that Matt is CONVINCED is from like the prohibition or something. He suggested we take it to the "Antiques Roadshow"......Ummm we'll see if we can find it online first... ;) it is cool, but I definitely dont think we found something worth a small fortune! I also got some more fabric that is really cute, and matches the fabric on my ottoman, and baskets! Woo hoo! Made some HOMEMADE ornaments for the tree, and a branch boquet from the bushes in the backyard :) Busy weekend, but lots of fun!!!

So this weekend was prettu much the funnest time ever! Matt and I had a lot of fun Putting up the tree, decorating, visiting our FAVORITE thrift store, eating out, shopping, and hangin with Fam and friends. It was so nice to have extra time off work, i loved it :) Started with Thanksgiving dinner at the ROWBERRYS house. YUM!!! it was sooooo good! everyone was there except one of Matts sisters (Jill) and her family. We missed them! I didnt actually take any pics of dinner or anything, but this is Matt waiting for Pie after.

Friday was shopping with my sis at 5 am!!! Thanks KayLA! we really did have a lot of fun! Spent a lot of Money, and were EXHAUSTED by the time we were done. I got this BEuTiFul bedding set! I love it! we got some really pretty quilts for our wedding, but then we got a new HUGE bed (thanks T&K) and none of our Queen size quilts fit! So I found this whole set with the cute squares on the bedskirt and pillows. Love it!

Found ALL of these pillows at Somebodys attic! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that store! If you live near Logan, or Smithfield, GO (all of their proceeds go to support CAPSA)! They have such good deals, and I always find the cutest stuff!

Like these baskets that I recovered with fabric I used to do my ottoman a while ago! They had ugly country apples on them before

Also Did some Stocking crafting! I love Christmas, Freakin love it!

Found these VINTAGE ornaments from Somebodys attic! They are from 1975-1979! They are way cute, and were .50 each!!! They all came in the Original Hallmark box. Love em! BTW thats my new cute tree skirt! :)

Put up the tree! matt leaves the lights on all day long :) I put up some cute rope that matched our stockings. I think it turned out sooo cute!

Matt and I bought Jericho (our beutiful Beta) a new fish tank! he was in a yucky fish bowl that we cleaned every week. This is much cuter! Matt also bought me flowers yesterday. Pretty fall flowers. What a precious boy :) Love you baby!

Sunday evening was the Ragin Bday party for me at the Rowberry's. We had a fun time, and I got some cute stuff!

My birthday was the other day (Im 26 now!!!) and my SupER AweSomE Husband Spoiled me rotten :) he took me to sizzler--LOVE SIZZLER and No ANgEla--it does NOT remind me of SenIOr CitiZenS :) he also took the day off with me, to do nothing, bought me this CUTE coat (in the picture) and got me a PURPLE kokak Easy Share camera! I SOOO love it! and I took all of these pics with it :) Anyway, it was a super fun day!

We went to lunch with my sis, my DAD and my BaBY BrO Oh yah, and KASH :)

I love to play with Kash, he is getting so big, and already has a favorite Aunt!! ;)

Okay so Rigdons bday isnt until the 17th, but Kristin and him flew back to Puyuallup yesterday so we celebrated on my bday (5th) it was SOOO much fun! He got some really cool presents and loved all of them, and couldn't stop playing with them :) Here we are showing off some of our loot!

Rig got quite a few crayola toys and they were SOOO fun to play with.

My mom gave him a Band in a drum. He loved it! and im sure his mom/apartment neighbors will love it too! :)

Sunday was Kash's baby blessing. I totally forgot my camera but I know my Dad took PLENTY of pics! Tons of family and friends came over to my parents for dinner after! It was SOO much fun to hang out with everyone. Loved it!!!

Last night Kristin (my bros wife) and my nephew Rigdon flew in from Puyallup, WA! I was so excited to see them both! Rigdon has grown so much I couldnt believe how much bigger and more grown up he is! Matt and I went out to my parents to visit, and get Outlaw gear for our costumes :) It was a fun time! i wanted to get a picture of the 2 cousins together for the first time. Kash has started smiling now! I heart babies ;)

Just a random pic I snapped of Matt and I this morn before work. What a handsome Gunsmith :)

This is a little ottoman that we aquired from Matts grandma. it was covered in some fleece or something, so I decided to revive it and make it match our house. I LOve LOVE love the shape of it and i found 6 yards of this fabric at Somebodys Attic (local CAPSA thrift store that i LOVE!) for .75 cents! Holy Smokes! If anyone has a suggestion of what to put on the part where the 2 ends of the rope meet, to cover that up. Let me know! I was thinking a button or something, but I dont really know.

My cute mom then went to hobby lobby with me to find some trim braid. I think we did a pretty good job picking it out! Thanks Mama!

The wreath I made from dollar tree! I just noticed on the right side there is a huge hole! Im gonna have to get that fixed. Dont judge me :)

So lately I have just been really not in the mood to post. Dont worry, Ive still been stalking other peoples blogs. Anyway, not much exciting stuff has been going on lately. Last week Matt took me on a date to MADDOX!

I love that place!!! It was so fun to drive over there, we just laughed the whole time. i had so much fun, I told him to ask me out on dates more often. So last night he asked me if I wanted to go on a date in our living room :) what a nerd! But it was really fun, and we laughed a whole lot more. He ordered a pizza (Not pepperoni...)

and we rented What Happens in Vegas. It was a pretty cute movie. Anyway...Thanks for the dates, lover. I feel cool when you ask me out!
I have been doing a few crafts lately... :) Cuz I love them. Ill post pics later.
