SLC--One Day Vacay

For our belated anniversary celebration we took yesterday off and jetted to SLC for fun.  We went to Thanksgiving Point to the Dinosaur Museum.  Matt loves dinosaurs.  It was actually really cool!  Here is matt with a Long neck.

We also went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy.   Ehhh  Not so impressed.  Took us like 20 min to get through the whole thing.  Lame-O.  But here are some cool Eels

Sunday I tackled my first sewing project.  I hate the door in the bathroom that leads into our bedroom.  Im always opening it and closing it.  Its a total nuisance and always gets in the way, so I decided to sew a fabric door that doesnt swing open and shut.  Ahhhh much better!!!

This morning at like 7:15 Matt was outside taking pictures of our yard.  We have been working really hard on it lately.  He is just SOoOoOo proud.  He made me promise to put pics on the blog.  So here are the pictures of the tulips.

Sterling roses are my fave and so are sweet anniversary cards from my babe. He also made me Salmon and Asparagus (also my faves) and got me some YUMM-O Sorbet. It was a perfect night! I loved it and I love Matt :)

Catch up

So weve been pretty busy lately. Doin tons of fun stuff with fam and friends. Heres a brief recap...
We went to the Rowberrys for Easter (my parents were in Denver) and had a huge yummy dinner and an easter egg hunt. Fun times! Here are most of the grandkids showing off their baskets.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE. There is actually even more snow on the ground now, than when this picture was taken a couple of days ago. Did mother nature not get the memo??? Its Spring! Even for Cache Valley this is getting ridiculous. AND AND AND, its supposed to keep snowing for about another week. BARF!

The other night Scout wanted to pretend like he was a preppy school dog, so i put a POLO SHIRT on my cute little Shit-zu ;)
